PROPORTION & MEASURE

Proportion & Measure is a series of works revolving around special proportions such as Φ (also known as the Golden Number), the Pythagorean triangle (of sides 3, 4, 5) and √2 (the diagonal of a square).

In these works I reflected on the possibility of creating sculptures that are intrinsically linked to the proportions through their morphology.

As always these works seem to be a metaphor of time. Being independent of any specific unit of measure. All that is needed is metrology, the science of measurement.
